Huge tip: Build nets. I have placed nets 20 tiles wide across the front of my raft and have more materials than I can carry. Build 4 water boilers and 6 stoves to stay flush with food and water. Build two rows of foundation around EVERYTHING (even the nets, debris floats under and into the nets anyways). This protects anything hard to replace from unnoticed shark attacks. Keep stabbing the shark after he dies for the best food you can get. No need for trees or potatos unless you want to for fun.
After learning all of that the game is pretty much beat for me until the next update. Looking forward to it.
P.s. The only thing that i feel is missing from this early version is the ability to invert my mouse look. Been playing inverted for 20 years its hard to go "mongo" just to enjoy your game.
